The original Zen Can Can, our totally analog headphones amplifier, stood out in the management of demanding headphones loads with its balanced circuit design, extremely low distortion and exceptional sound. The Zen Can Signature takes this design one step further, presenting improved circuits and audiophile quality components.

Its symmetric and balanced dual monkey circuit can deliver 1890 MW (11.0 V) in 64 ohm loads and offer more than 15 V to 600 ohm loads or more, all through its balanced output.

Laptops and smartphones usually have a low output power, less than 1.0 V. With a pair of quality headphones, you often run out of energy and never experience its full potential.

However, Zen Can Signature offers more than just power; It also offers warm and exceptional sound quality. This is thanks to its discreet balanced class A circuit, inherited from the flagship amplifier Pro Ican.

Zen Can Signature offers a variety of input options, which include RCA stereo inputs, with a single end of 3.5 mm and balanced 4.4 mm, which makes it versatile enough to connect with its laptops, telephones or dac.

For the output, it provides a balanced option of 4.4 mm for headphones that support balanced connections. It also has a 6.3 mm connector for headphones with standard one -end connectors. If you are using headphones with a 3.5 mm connector, an adapter of 3.5 mm at 6.3 mm is available, so you should not worry.

The unit also includes a balanced analog output in the posterior panel, ideal to connect active speakers using a 4.4 mm to XLR adapter. As Zen Can Signature has a totally balanced mono -dual circuit design, this is the recommended output option.

Zen Can Signature offers multiple customization options to adapt to a wide range of headphones.

From PowerMatch, the unit provides four gain configurations in six dB steps: 0 dB, 6 dB, 12 dB and 18 dB. This characteristic guarantees compatibility from super sensitive to headphones that consume a lot of energy. We recommend starting in 0 dB and then gradually adjust the switching level of gain to find the optimal volume for enjoyment and comfort.

It also has two analog processing modes, Xspace and XBASS, designed to improve the sound scenario and the low frequency response of its headphones. XBBBS addresses a common problem, particularly with open headphones: the loss of serious frequencies.


Premium inside and out

Zen Can Signature uses a PCB with military specifications to improve signal integrity. It also incorporates audiophile grade components, such as:

  • Elna Silmic II and OS-Conndensers offer excellent noise reduction capacities and frequency characteristics.
  • The operational amplifiers of the series 'Operationsverstärker' IFI/AMR 'OV' provide low noise and distortion level, providing a performance that equals or exceeds many high -end headphones amplifiers.

Unlike other headphones amplifiers that come with standard power supplies such as laptops, Zen Can Signature includes the IFI IPower2 power supply. It has active noise cancellation II to eliminate all the emi and rfi incoming noise, ensuring a clean and clear audio experience. The iPower2 is already exceptional, being more than 10 times quieter than standard power supplies. For those who seek to further improve their configuration, consider the DC ipurifier2, which can further reduce the interference of the system, as well as the Ipowerx power supply.

  • A fully discreet and balanced amplifier audio circuit. The totally symmetric dual monkey headphones amplifier with a balanced connection of 4.4 mm gold plans. Premium engineering is more expensive but reduces background noise to silent levels.
  • As with many other IFI audio products, we have incorporated a personalized OV series operational amplifier. This first level component contributes to extremely low noise, low distortion (0.0001%) and wide bandwidth.
  • A multipist potentiometer of Tokyo Cosmos Electric Co. is used. It has a close coincidence tolerance of channels for optimal performance (always use it above 11 o'clock).
  • The change between configurations has been designed to guarantee sound transparency with advanced trench technology. MOSFET is used as a silencing switch. This FET -based switching is managed by a microcontroller, which only "awakens" when the user changes a configuration, thus eradicating any harmful sound interference.

  • TDK C0G capacitors (class 1 ceramics) offer high stability and low losses for resonant circuit applications. Each and closer to the theoretical ideal of pure constant frequency, these capacitors reduce capacitor -induced distortion at extremely low levels.

  • Panasonic OS-Conconic covers with a total of 5410 UF provide very low equivalent series resistance, an excellent noise reduction capacity and frequency response features. In addition, OS-with have a long useful life and their ESR changes little even at low temperatures, since the electrolyte is solid. They are not usually found in products that cost

  • We use Elna Japan Silmic II capacitors for food sources. The recently developed dielectric component is silk fiber. It was believed that this material was as unfathomable as an electrolytic aluminum condenser. The new silk fiber batter and manila hemp fiber mixture to provide dielectric to an aluminum electrolytic capacitor used for high quality music. The result are unsurpassed higher acoustic properties and an excellent linearity.
